Materials and Stones

The designer, Shelley Cooper, uses only the finest quality materials in the production of all her designs.

The metal used is the best quality jeweller metal for the production of the shapes, which hold the stones.
Chains are of the highest quality, as are the jewellery findings. These elements are all plated with a high quality silver or gold finish, then usually burnished to create an antique effect. Metals are lead free.
Earring posts and hoops are surgical steel. A wide variety of stones are used throughout the collection. Some items are set with 200-300 stones
to create the desired look.

Around 80% of the crystal used in the collection is swarovski. A variety of other crystal suppliers, art glass and bead suppliers are used to provide the huge variation of stones needed to create such a diverse collection. Some stones are genuinely old, or are semi precious. If this is the case, a note will show with the product description on our website and come with each item purchased.
